Girlfriend broke up with me for asking to split bill, AITAH?

We took turns paying and one time she asked me how much she owes me. On the next date I thought because of that she wants to start splitting. We went to eat and I paid but as we walked out I asked if she could send me half and she went home and broke up with me. Fast forward a week later she says we should try again and work on things, yet when I ask her for us to talk about what happened she said she doesn't want to talk about it. Meanwhile I paid because I now understand it means a lot to her, I genuinely didn't know (first relationship). Unfortunately she breaks up with me again because we played some board game and I refused for her to keep a game piece she wanted to keep as a token. Once again she went home and broke up with me. I feel like I hurt her very badly, she said I embarrassed her, made her feel judged and that I'm not generous. She hasn't message'd me since. Honestly I'm just trying to make sense of it all, it's been two months now and still I feel bad. I wanted to travel with her, spend more time with her. We were never intimate so even without this issue I think she was being avoidant and all I did was trigger her.

It looks as if you went out with the wrong girl. A person that breaks up a relationship on such a trivial thing and this twice, is a person you should never have allowed back in your life after the first breakup.

She seems to be a cheap Charlie that wants everything paid for her. You should have realized that the second she took this bill splitting as an excuse for a breakup.

Don't look back and don't feel bad. Some people are simply not meant to be in a relationship as they will extort every penny out of the partner.
