That depends on the outcome of the court trail as well as any prenups. As well as who has more.

People refuse to sign prenups most people don’t get married planning on divorce. But sometimes someone just decides to divorce you OR… you end up abused or cheated on.

It should have mutual protections. If someone only wants to protect their own assets but let’s say a woman stays home not making a income. She can be thrown on the street to start all over again… But much later in life. I’ve also seen men loose almost everything to some bum who never lifted a finger. It’s sad seeing good people screwed over. Someone who genuinely loves you will have your best interests at heart. But hard conversations need to be had.
