When an ex says, "It's not like I can't find a new partner 😂", after a month of being broken up, is that something they actually mean, or is that a defense machinism to help them get through the break up faster?

I used to hear this quote every where and the quote was, if you build it they will come. Which means, if you work on your self and your assets, you do not have to worry that a break up means you cannot replace them with somebody else. Your dating value is traced back to what you work at and what you sow.

I can tell you, this wasn't about sex. More just of an unfortunate situation
