Should I break up with my boyfriend who drinks and seems not over his ex?

Yesterday I was with my boyfriend that I’ve been talking to for like 7 months but we have been dating for like 3. We hung out with his cousin and his girlfriend. And he was drinking and he was the only one who was super drunk. He has a drinking problem I don’t drink at all really so I don't know how to go about it. He was able to actually express emotion when he was drunk and he was talking about his ex girlfriend that he broke up with 2 weeks before we started seeing each other. Saying she lived 3 minutes away , that she was texting other guys and it made him feel betrayed but clearly he isn’t over her or the situation which hurts me. Before him I was alone for 2 years not seeing anyone. And I’m scared of being alone again. I don't know what to do or how to feel. He put on his cousins girlfriend slippers yesterday and I thought that was weird. What does real love feel like.

It sounds like you could be his rebound relationship. Not being over her and being a drunk are two red flags that are reason enough to end it, even if it means being alone for a while.
