My ex boyfriend tells me he would like to remain friends more then once. The day we break up. He was the one that dumped me.

When I try to initiate contact. Have only done so like three times since. In the space of a month and a bit. I get one sentence replies back and when I respond to his respond I get nothing.

Does not sound very friendly to me. ?

by you staying in contact its going to be extremely difficult for the both of you to move on, let him go and maybe you two will reconnect as friends later on.. but not now, its too soon

He most likely wants nothing more to do with you, so just go after someone else.
