Ex liked my change of relationship status on FB?

My ex broke up with me in spring. As the summer progress I started seeing this guy and it started to be more and more serious. We have recently decided to change our status on FB to in a relationship with... My ex to which I haven't spoken since the break up (no communication at all) immediately " liked" the change of status. that's the only form of communication there was between us. Can he really, genuinely be happy and liking the fact that some other guy is now wheeling me ? Should I ignore it ?

Well you did say he broke up with you. I know I don't know the details but considering that little fact, then yes he could be happy for you. I use to have an ex who would do the same thing kinda. We don't talk, but the few times we would, the first thing he would mention is my relationship status. He would even go as far as to ask me questions about him. Its not that he still had feelings for me, hell he was (still is) in a relationship with another girl. Its the fact that he did once care about you and wants you to be happy. And yes you should ignore it. This is already bothering you more than it should. I say this because you had to ask this question. Be happy with your new guy and leave the ex in the past

A lot of times I like my ex's stuff or even when he likes mine its just a mind game, its like a constant reminder of your pass and it could almost be a mocking sort of like as though like "haaa its the new me". But I don't know your ex I'm just listing a possible reason - but when exs like particular things on Facebook it is always a mind game, and if you let it get to you - they are winning

Hey :) I know you posted it a long time ago, but what kind of mindgame are you talking about? My ex liked a picture of me after we broke up and we never talked since the broke up. So he did that to annoy me? That seems weird..

Really depends.. cause when you break up you do the whole 'out of site out of mind' and so it could be that now that your single again your ex is trying to get back into your train of thought. Or it's just to start conversation as in a 'move' a pretty sh*t move but usually hinting at you to start conversation.. which if you want to contact him you an easily do now because its obvious that he is still interested in your life!
