My roommates/friends are hanging out with my ex?

My boyfriend ended our four month relationship one month ago. It wasn't an angry break up, he just decided the relationship wasn't for him. I was/am obviously hurt and sad because I felt differently, but I respected his decision and have left him alone-no texts, no calls. My roommate (a couple) have decided to continue to hang out with him, even though when we were together, the four of us only hung out together a handful of times. They really liked him, but were never friends with him outside of our relationship. I'm finding it really difficult to move on with this connection.

I've tried to explain to my roommates-who I've known for 4 years-that I need my support system and need to be able to talk openly to them about my feelings concerning his dumping me. I just can't do that knowing it has potential to get back to him. They said they are here for me and that it's no reflection of our friendship but I NEED space. I'm considering moving out to get the space I need to heal. Any advice?

I'd go with the moving out, clearly they want to matchmake to get you back together, and that's not likely tow ork and won't let your get over your hurt feelings. They may mean well, but they have to cnosider your feelings and they obviusly don't want to do that. They are his friends first and will likely stay that way.

You shouldn't have to move out over it.

If their YOUR friends they will respect that your uncomfortable with the situation.

Even though they are friends with him now they were your friends first they should lay off at least for a little while.
