Should I quit my job working with my ex?

It's been 5 months since he broke up with me. I'm OK working with him, we can talk and work professionally, but I always cry after work realizing how much I miss him and how we used to be. It's too much work to be mad at him because all he did was tell me he didn't feel the same way after 4 months.

I really would hate to leave my job. I'm friends with a lot of my other co-workers and generally is a fun environment. We just have to work really closely and getting over him is taking forever.

Another of the many reasons to thik twice about a work relationship...it's doubly hard to stay infatuated because you have to be in work mode together all the time!

Chances are you will still miss him if you quit the job, so it would be better to find new interests outside work, things you won't associate with him. not necessarily another relationship, but a new hobby or new field of study, something that will absorb your attention

It entirely depends on your financial situation. Could you deal with not having a job? How easily could you get another job?

It just might not be the most responsible thing to do. You're in a bad situation that is clear...but it might be a better option to just learn to deal with it.

one of my female workmate has a kid with one of my male workmate, I don't know how they work after breaking up three years ago..but they are doing fine, I guess so.. put your personal life aside and do your job.

You probably should look for another job, but don't quit your job until you have another one lined up.

thats what happens when you date some1 you work with. You shouldn't date some1 you work with because it is a "conflict of interest"

This is exactly why you don't dip your pen in the company ink. Getting into relationships with coworkers is a horrible idea. I can tell you that it's going to take a long time to get over him if you stay there.
