I messed up, accidentally called out my ex's name in bed?

I accidentally in bed called out my ex boyfriend name. I have no idea why and I don't have any feelings for him. We argued and then the next day he said forget about it and don't worry. Later that evening out of the blue he started to argue again nothing related to the above but really stupid comments about how much money he has and wants to buy a slave, he said he gets what he wants when he wants. So once again, on purpose this time I said you are acting like ex name.

He told me to get out and leave. Didn't care that is was night time and snowing badly and the roads were bad. I asked if I could sleep on couch until morning. He said he didn't care. I did apologies left and right. He just wouldn't have it. I left in am said goodbye. Still have not talked yet. I have not tried to communicate with him yet. I think it's really over and I am scared. I do love him.

First off, can you honestly say that you weren't thinking about your ex at that moment? And Can you honestly say that you are over your ex?

Calling out the ex's name is one thing but comparing him to the ex is really concerning and for a guy or girl a HUGE slap in the face.

You need to realize that you immasculated him. In the most intimate and sensitive of moments you called out someone elses name. He feels vulnerable and insecure he feels like you don't see him as the man that he is. He is going to try and reestablish his manhood (hence the talking about the money he makes, getting what he wants). You need to realize that you are going to have to eat crow and that you will have to patiently deal with him while he gets over it cause this is the equivalent to saying 'sex with my ex was better' (even though I know it's not what you meant).

Tell him you are truly truly sorry. That you understand how you put in him in a strange place and that you will do whatever it takes to help him understand that your feelings are for him and 100% no one else.

You sound like you made a mistake (sure) but then you coldly and calmly through the same name back at him, knowing full well what you were doing.

That's not the act of someone who loves her man. That sounds like the act of someone who has NO respect for her man, and thinks she can say and do anything she f***ing likes, and there won't be any consequences because she thinks her man is a spineless jelly.

I do love him very much. I also respect him. The second argument there were comments about the ex and how he could not afford anything. Money does not matter to me so I got so upset when he kept talking about how he wanted to buy a slave and kept going on and on about how he was so much better. I snapped and said well stop acting like the ex and told him he was being ignorant and you can't buy people. He disagreed.

you are over the age 45. Mistakes like these I would deem are in your nature, I know you are hurting but why make the same mistake twice. Most guys unless they were fools would put up with that. In reverse, if he did that to you you would walk out too. He has every reason to be mad, you need to do some serious reflection.

I wish I could offer you some advice. But yeah you messed up, I probably could have forgave the first name calling, it happens. It may have taking sometime buy yeah I could forgive that. I could even forgive the second. But put the two together in the same day, I'd tell you to go sleep on his couch.
