Broke up due to long distance.

We broke up five months ago due to long distance. Went no contact for two months. Now we’ve talked every day for the last three months and finally got together last night with friends.

We were together 2 years. During that time, We had great sexual chemistry but he never ate me out, nor tried. So I was taken back when he did last night. He seems to have changed but I’m just more confused than ever.

This guy!!! He’s moved on, married. Yet he still emails me. Claiming that I’m called him blocked. (Im not). I don’t have time for his mundane bs. Every time I answer; it’s a fight and he’s ignorant. Im a psychology major so I know what I’m doing. I try ignoring him, yet I get emails like this. I don't know what to do anymore. I’ve tried getting restraining orders, but we are in different states. Please any suggestions

If your SO breaks up with you, would you trust them again to give them a second chance or feel that they don't really love you?

My relationship lasted 4.5 years, and it ended 2 weeks ago. We are doing the no-contact rule, so I can't discuss anything with him now. But, he decided to end it because he "felt like the bad guy," communication/compatibility issues, and my close-minded family (even though that was a minor issue out of everything). He said that he wanted to work on himself to understand his emotions/feelings better, make himself a better person, needed time/space, and he couldn't do it while we were together still. He also said he couldn't guarantee that he would return right now since he is unsure what he wants and has started therapy to figure that out. He discussed moving to another state since most of his family lives there, but he hadn't told me when he planned to leave. He even broke up with me over the phone and not in person. I asked to see him at least one more time in person to discuss it at least (we live 3 hours away from each other), and he said no.

I'm unsure how to feel about all of this besides a massive unfairness since I deserve the "best" version of him when he is done with therapy, and I didn't want to end it. I have researched his likelihood of returning online, and it seemed up in the air. The breakup wasn't the worst, and I know he still loves/cares about me to a certain degree since we did last this long. I feel like I am not getting all of the information about how he feels since he mentioned how he was "done/tired" of the relationship, but his plan after a month of no contact was to be "friends" (which could easily change now) initially with the breakup. What do you think? Do you think there's a chance of him returning after therapy? I know not to bank on it, but I wanted to see if other people were in a similar situation and what happened. His mom still supports me and is helping me process this the best she can. It feels weird because it felt rushed, and he seems indifferent about it all now. Like he even bought an engagement ring for me and everything.

I want to ask so I have context regarding his intent and can better determine whether to accept or decline his request.

As a foreigner observing what I see in America from the large numbers of divorced female neighbours where I live it seems to be the case. As a Catholic naturally I don't believe in divorce but still in the majority of cases that I've seen the husband was an average enough fellow working to provide for his wife and kids when his wife decided she wasn't happy & blamed him for it.

Well apparently more women than men in America own their homes, there is a reason for this. When I look at the divorced wives in my neighbourhood financially they are doing quite well, even the ones who don't work with alimony payments, child support and divorce settlements. The only thing I would say about them is that even though most of them instigated the divorces usually for fickle reasons it's seems they are no happier in fact I would say they are miserable and also their kids suffer. And when their ex husbands find love again they get bitter about it. The men they date tend to treat them very badly using them for sex, money and a rent free place to stay. Now I try not to judge these divorced women but having spoken to them on occasion it quickly becomes apparent in most cases that they divorced their exs for no reason.

So you've been dating someone for a while, and your dog is not a fan. S/he barks at, bites, growls, etc at your partner every time they are near. Your partner has done nothing but try to get along with your dog but your dog isn't having it and now after months of this "abuse," your partner tosses you an ultimatum. It's either them or the dog?

Do you think getting dumped hurts more if you were having sex with the person in question? Or does it not make a difference?
