He randomly broke up with me out of no where but begged to keep sleeping together.

I only found out recently that he has this friendship. When we split he kept saying I’ll eventually sleep with someone else. I think I could get anyone I want. He said not better than you but the same

Then after a month of doing that he came back asking for a relationship again. A week later said nah I just wanna keep sleeping together.

Was he telling the truth he just didn’t like this relationship or was it for that friendship?

For me the red flag is that he broke up so abruptly. I dunno what kind of dynamic you two have, but I do know some people break up but are happy just staying friends with benefits. BUT those kind of relationships general end because both people come together, talk it out, and mutually agree that its not working out. Him just randomly coming out and dropping it, and then having the gall to try and keep you in his pocket... Is just disgusting.

It's probably a safe bet he is interested in that other girl. But to be honest it doesn't really matter. The fact he thought it was okay to break up with you out of no where, and then try to pressure you into still sleeping with him, is reason enough to get him out of your life.

I think this one is tough to say, it feels like he found another girl that he is more interested in whether it be physically or emotionally or socially, whatever, and he wants to pursue her, but he doesn't have the self-confidence that he will not be rejected, so instead he tried to end things with you amicably and maintain that connection to you through the Friends with benefits relationship, also so that he can continue having someone to fuck, in case that other option doesn't work out.

Congratulations, you have become his backup. I would recommend you stop fucking him, and make a respectable boundary between the two of you as platonic not romantic friends. Don't put the blame on the other Gal, she probably has no idea that you exist because why would he tell her about you? That'd make him look kinda bad, that he broke up with you to have a shot at her, in the way that it makes him look like he does not respect a relationship that he is in if he thinks he can get someone else.

My ex told me that a man knows what he wants. If he tells you that he’s not ready for a relationship- it’s not that he isn’t ready, it’s that he doesn’t want it with u. Basically if the guy wanted u, clearly he can have u because ur available for him. It seems like he’s just keeping you around out of convenience for himself.
