  It's not necessarily fantasy... It takes a special set of skill and tactics to convince and gain someone's trust over texts. It's not for everyone. Also, on dating apps image is a big component, generally people swipe based on what they see at face-value. They don't really care about who the person is, but rather if he/she is fuckable. My best advice is that, if you want to meet someone with whom you'll have a meaningful relationship, find yourself a girl or guy who has common interests with you.
