Holding your tongue

Some lessons are learned the hard way, especially in relationships. So many women ask am I pretty? However, most often they want to know whether you're attracted to them. Most women I'm not attracted to, I either feel it or I don't. However, I think a lot of women are pretty, like a painting or sculpture. So when asked I more often say yes, but that has lead to confusion and hurt to many. On top of that I try to maintain a positive outlook, some women aren't conventionally pretty, but have nice complexion, smile, hair, etc. so it is much more polite to point to the positives. Though most women would do better by being more direct by asking: "Are you attracted to me"? I have found on my own end holding my tongue and pointing to positives rather than simply saying yes, to be advantageous. There are also attractions beyond the physical, through that is the first thing I notice about a woman.

I had so much misunderstanding that i can totally guess what a girl will understand from my answer though so i try to keep calm and don't jump on anything without thinking about consequences.
