It seems like this varies for a lot of people. I feel like 10 pm is kind of early for a booty call, and 4 am is like way too late or almost rude. if a guy calls you between 10 and 11 pm is that a booty call, even if it's an ex you haven't talked to in months?

well my ex recently called me and then texted me hey whats up at around 10:30 (we haven't spoken in 8 months, he also tried to call a few months ago) and I'm trying to figure out his intentions, we had a nasty break up.

well I never answered him so I'm still unsure of what the "hey what's up" means because it's not directly asking me to come over or anything, but it's also so ridiculously informal. he's called another time at 3 pm and also 2 am, so I really just don't know what to make of it. I haven't answered anything, and I don't have voicemail set up unfortunately.

maybe he was drunk, because there is no gosh darn reason to call someone at 2am. Sometimes "hey whats up" is like ripping a band-aid off to start a long awaited conversation. If you want to answer him when he calls or text at a decent time, that is okay, but he should stop calling soon.

It's been 8 months, he might not even remember why y'all really broke up ^^ I know I don't remember my fights from that long ago. The only real way to find out is to talk to him personally. Just don't meet him anywhere when it is late and booty call avoided. Do you want to get back into a relationship with him?
