How to ask a guy for his name?

I wanted to ask a cute guy for his name but I don't know how. So how do you ask for a guys name and tell him he's cute as well? How do you talk to a guy you don't know?

There are any number of ways you can go about this, you might try and be clever (funny) about it and tell him you lost your name badge can you have his? To be sure I know that is somewhat corny but it isn't a terrible way to start a conversation, or you could say you are taking a survey for a class, the government, or better yet your government class and you are studying survey taking and you have to practice taking names... well for the survey so you need his name to complete the survey, and then you can improvise from there. I mean even if the guy catches on that you are spinning a complete line of crap, he might be intrigued enough and amused that he will give you his name just to see where it all goes. The funniest thing about what you are asking, is given your age range, I suspect you are in High School, and I wish for the life of me, I had thought of half of the things I think about now, it would have made things so much easier for me. Looking back on my own experiences, I remember one girl who liked me, ran up to me in class and kissed me on the cheek and then ran off, of course I was in class with her, and I already knew her name, my point is I knew she liked me, so we went from there. Anyway I hope that helps a little.

just say your own name and he will say his (most of the time) then a quick conversation and leave. dont call him cute... you don't even know his name. that would be too fast. maybe later. instead show him your interested.

Go up to him and say hi Iam (ur name) then he'll tell you his and ask him if he wants to be friends i think that would work out

When I see a cute girl I just walk up to her and introduce myself, ask for her name and then tell her she's pretty. Then about my day. Ya nevet know what may happen.

Just introduce yourself... Normal human beings would do the same in response. Just talk to the guy, he'll get the hint

Just say for example "Hi I'm Kasandra (or w/e your name is ) , whst's your name?" and smile, it's that easy.
