HOW TO ASK A GUY HIS NAME?

Hi!
It sounds crazy and cringe but I don't have idea how to ask a boy his name. He's the postman where I live. He knows my name because he delivers parcels, we often talk and he always greets me when I meet him. He calls me by name and he is really nice. I'd like to know him better but I even don't know his name... how I can ask him his name in a natural an easy way? it is the first time that this has happened to me

I may not have explained well, but the only problem is that by delivering the mail every day he knows my name (so I would like to find a nice way to ask him his name. Otherwise if he hadn't known my name I would have easily presented as I have done other times)

Ask him his name. There's nothing wrong with that. He realizes the inherent unfairness in knowing names: that you realize that he knows your name and also he realizes you don't know his name. Thus, to balance that, he'd probably be fine with your knowing his name.

HOWEVER, if you want to be ask directly, call your post office. Once you are connected, ask for the name of the postman who delivered your mail today. When they ask why, say "I wanted to thank him for something he said or did and wanted to write his name in the Thank You card that I bought for him."

By reading from your cues, I think so far it's going really well. Calling you by name, looks like he's really interested in you and wants to offer you his respects. He might be seeing you as someone special, just like you feels. I think you should be straight, tell him you are a good guesser and since he hasn't introduced himself, you will guess his name. Just introduce yourself.
Usually when you say what your name is, the other person does it back.

he already knows my name since he delivers the mail and parcels. He obviously read it. Whenever I meet him he always calls me by name so it is obvious that he knows it.

Just strike up a friendly conversation introduce yourself give the boy your name after ask the boy what's his name
