Is it weird to ask a guy for his last name?

I know I'm going to get hate like everyone who asks stupid questions like this does. But I have bad social anxiety, so I've been trying to just hint to this guy that I like him. Do you think it's creepy to ask him what his last name is? I don't have much dating experience because I wasn't comfortable talking to guys, I've only dated 3 guys in my life. Short answer, I have no idea what to do or what's acceptable. Does asking his last name even hint to him that I like him? I know I sound crazy but I have nobody to help me with these situations so i resort to the enternet.😂

It’s not creepy. It’s a question. I mean obviously you should know the name of the person you’re with.
