Personally, I am not more desperate. Then again, my heart is set on one guy who I am very desperate to have back. So my personal opinion probably isn't very accurate, but it seems that women are more desperate just so they can have a Valentine. In your case, though, she doesn't sound desperate from what you said.

I can see how some people might but I'm not really the romantic kind infact I don't do relationships at all so I'm pretty "normal" when it comes to these kind of things.
