+1 yI assume you are good at it or at least decent, then sure. what is let it be? I don't follow? I think nice to cook, and have him help cleanup.
nothing wrong with carryout as well though.
a lot can be learned about both of you in how this all goes.
I'd keep it simple so that what is simple is more successful and less stressful.15 Reply
Asker+1 yI am good at cooking yes but I think I'll have to do everything since I will cook at my place and take it to his place. I dont know if we will learn about each other a lot by just this?
- +1 y
oh that's easier. I was thinking you cook together. You'll find all kinds of compatibility or issues doing that. Have fun, you sound like a great girl, he's a lucky guy, I hope he appreciates it.
Asker+1 yI'll make sure we cook together in later dates. Thank you :) I hope I cook well.
- +1 y
What are you making? :)

Go for it i promise he will love it!!!15 Reply
Asker+1 yI am confused if I should surprise him or just ask him first if I can cook something for dinner?
- +1 y
Surprises work!
Asker+1 yI am confused since the guy im talking about is german.
- +1 y
Thanks for mho!! And I am happy that it worked!
Asker+1 yYou are welcome ^_^
+1 yYou could ask him in a casual way what he would like.

Asker+1 yI just need to put "less spices" since I am dealing with European and I am Indian. I hope he is not allergic to indian cottage cheese :D
- +1 y
@Asker What is difference between regular cottage cheese and Indian cottage cheese? Lol
Asker+1 y@akadatank44 I dont think there is any difference but its just the way I am used to call it. Paneer or indian cottage cheese.
Asker+1 yI know the European taste very well and would not add anything thats uncomfortable for his stomach and mouth. Milder yes :)
Asker+1 yOh yes. I understand what you mean there. In that case, I will use authentic spicing as it is. Will keep the whole spices like bay leaf, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, whole black pepper intact and reduce on amount of red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric. A lot of cheese though.
+1 yWhat you mean by let it be, no food. No thanks unless your implying of going to straight to making out and sex then I'm sure he won't mind doing that on an empty stomach.

Asker+1 yNo sex for third date. Not my thing.
+1 y:O ya my boyfriend skipped the 3rd date and tricked me into moving half my shit into his place. but ya cooking is a good thing just dont cook bad foods.
im going to cook some chickan bacon fettuccine alfredo for me and him tonight :D15 Reply
Asker+1 yhahahaha I was planning to take food to his place since mine is a little bit crowded with other students. You seem to have good cooking skills!! :D Unfortunately I am vegetarian.
- +1 y
Why are you vegetarian?
Asker+1 yummm I am Indian and follow Hinduism. Not so strict about it but then I am not enthusiastic about eating non-veg food. I can cook paneer butter masala very well though :D
- +1 y
oh your vegetarian via religion ok that makes it ok with me. im sick of seeing people who are vegan/vegetarians because the want to save animals.
Asker+1 yYes I am believer :)

+1 yMmmmm! Dinner! Just remember though, just because you cook for him doesn't mean he "owes" you anything!
Asker+1 y:/ Where did you get this from? That he owes me something if I cook for him?
- +1 y
Kidding! You know how they say a woman owes the guy sex if he pays for dinner? Just making a joke. In all seriousness, I think making dinner is an awesome idea!
Asker+1 yhahahahaha he owes nothing neither do I. ;) Just paying for dinner makes him entitled to sex? :/ I am clueless. Easterner dating westerner.
Asker+1 y@flypaper I was a little bit tensed since I dont want sex to be involved too soon. I'll pay for my dinners :D
3.7K opinions shared on Dating topic. If you have the cooking skills, he will definitely love and appreciate you making him a home cooked meal! :)

Asker+1 yI do have good cooking skills but I need to know if he likes the Indian cuisine.
Asker+1 yI will not add spices rather adapt to european tastes with indian touch.

Asker+1 yGood suggestion. I will ask him first. :)
Cooking would be nice provided you have good cooking skills, otherwise it would be best to let go :)

Asker+1 yYes I do. I was planning for palak paneer or shahi paneer for that case with some naan or rice.
Asker+1 yIm totally doing it. :)
Asker+1 yIt was amazing. He loved it since he never ate Palak paneer, naan and lassi. :)

Ya I know at your age, I was able to cook pretty well, but my mom was a chef. Some young guys are picking up on cooking skills, but not nearly enough!
You never know he might surprise you!
Have a fun third date, regardless :)
Asker+1 yTrue. He will just pick up some bread and fresh cheese (European) and some juice. Viola. lol.
Your woman is the lucky woman, I must day. In case you cook :D
Asker+1 yThank you :) I hope its good. Fingers crossed.
- +1 y
I was just lucky to have a mom that cooked well!
Asker+1 yNah its also your enthusiasm about the whole cooking thing. My mom is amazing traditional mom who has learnt knitting, sewing, decorating but I am quite not enthusiastic about them. So enthusiasm matters. :D
- +1 y
I am a little unusual that way. I just see things like laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc., as just chores in general the same as the outside work. To me there is no his and her chores they are just what needs to be done before having fun.
Asker+1 yYou are rational about it. Actually thats an attractive trait. If the guy asked if he could help me with home chores I will appreciate it too. The same my father taught me to repair little things in my own bike, fix doors, computers and little electronic stuffs. There are no his chores, no her chores. Golden words :)

i always find it hard to cook at other people's places because it means bringing all the ingredients and then trusting that they have everything in their kitchen you need to prepare the meal (although sometimes it works out great if you are in a better kitchen than your own).
what are you thinking of cooking up?
Asker+1 yI will cook everything in my hostel and take it to his apartment. He will not have any of the indian spices I need.
I am planning either of these with naan
Panner butter masala
