Why did he add me on snapchat after 3 months of no contact?

Over the summer, I dated this guy who I was really into. We only went on like 3 dates but I really liked him, and it kind of just fizzed out randomly. We haven't seen or talked to each other since July and I even deleted his number since I didn't think I'd ever talk to him again. Well on Saturday night he randomly added me on snapchat out of the blue. He hasn't said anything or watched any of my stories, but it makes me wonder why he randomly added me after no contact for almost 3 months. Could it be that he's still interested in seeing me again? And should I say something or just see if he says anything? I really really liked this guys and would love to see him again, but don't want to get my hopes up...
