Why didn't he add me back on snapchat/Does he like me?

So there is a guy I like, and we talk a lot in school. We talk about things we like, and not just school, and we are always teasing each other and laughing. He also sometimes looks at me I think- I've caught him a couple of times. So it seems like he likes me back right? That's what I thought, so I asked my friend for his snapchat, and added him, and he didn't add me back.
Does that mean he doesn't like me? Was I wrong about him liking me in the first place? Why didn't he add me back?

Wow, this sounds exactly like my situation, but instead I'm the guy who added her, but she won't add me back :( My advice would be to ask him directly to add you. I didn't get a chance to ask before summer ended, so now I'm cursed with possible "rejection" the rest of the summer ;-;

Does he even actively use his snapchat? it isn't like when you add someone on snap they know who added them by the user name... you have to actually tell him so he knows it is you.

My Snap is my name- and I'm not sure whether he actively uses it. He has best friends on it (My friend told me) so he must have used it somewhat recently or else they would have gone away. Either way, if he has the app, wouldn't he get the notification?

he probably likes u but maybe u had a user name he didn't recitnize and maybe he didn't know who u were with the nick name so that's probably why he didn't add u
