I really dislike Matthew Hussey, he is a dating coach for girls famous on youtube.

He just frustrates me, I feel like he has it wrong... You shouldn't be trying to change yourself, play mind and texting games with guys... you should always be yourself...

I know my crush watches him, and it seems like she plays a lot of texting and mind games too...

So that kinda makes me insecure, that she is following his advice :(

I think you should just be upfront with her about it. The worst dating advice anyone could give is to play games. I know that guy, and his stuff is bull. I see him on adverts when I'm trying to watch something else and all he is, is a liar. He's just a scam artists who claims he's an expert. Tell her to be genuine with you or you're going to cut your losses. This guy is basically teaching people to be compulsive liars. That's not good.
