Why is she scared of me?

I have a friend who i work with that i recently needed to let go of. We both have feelings for each other but she won't let her wall down. Whenever she wants to talk to me she has her gay friend talk to me. She text me the other day saying she has a lot to say to me and that this will be the last time she tries and she will leave me alone for good if i wanted. The thing is she is bringing her friend with her. Why can't she talk with me herself?

Liking someone is intimidating, for some more than others. Her having a friend do the talking or being there with her is probably a sense of comfort for her as she's doing something stressful to get closer to you. Don't expect her to come out of her bubble right away, give her time and if you enjoy her then let her know

Because she is really shy. You can tell her that you dont feel comfortable with her bringing her friend

She's probably using him as an excuse to leave in case things get too heavy. He'll be there to bail her out and say they need to go
