Any kind of addiction is unhealthy; alcohol, gaming, or otherwise. That's not attractive.

  Yeah WoW was extremely addictive. It kept me out of trouble for a few years tho. Before i played id be running into the law all the time. Personally, id never play it again just because video games dont entertain me anymore.

  Oh well, that's a really sad thing. Never heard of it in real life D: The "gaming addicted" I knew mostly played a lot of time due to other kind of problems (such as finding themselves without a job (hard to find here), out of college and depressed). Surely not the best reaction, but they had a reason, it wasn't the game itself, it was more the "I don't have anything better to do" thing.

  @dusty_milk i think its the comfortability, that we find in made up worlds. Its easier and morebfun to raid a lvl 70 dungeon, than to work 8 hours on our feet. I mean there are many kinds of addiction, as stated by Peepubs. Not all of them come in forms of drugs or alcohol.

  we're really getting offended at my dislike for alcoholics? people who chose to drink an obsessive amount knowing either they do one of a few things. become angry, annoying, possibly one of the ones who black out or some of the other things. It's illegal to be drunk for a reason so I jave no sympathy for people who chose to ignore that and get drunk all the time
