Why do girls wait hours to text back?

this happend multiple times by diffrent girls! the 1 I'm talking with now usually takes anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours! she seems intrested is always engaged in the conversation and asks me lots of questions to keep the conversation going. we even have a date set up so why does she take so long if she's intrested?
she usually apologizes when she takes long to respond saying she was really busy. I get people can get busy but 6 hours it only takes a minute to respond. what could be the real reason?

when she takes 5 hours to text back i usually reply with in a couple hours will it seem needy of me if I don't match her time or wait longer? I don't like playing games like that even if she is so I usually just text back whenever I can. I'm just not sure if it could come of as despret.

girls will do that shit so you don't think they're needy or else so you think they're busy doing stuff when they actually have nothing going on but don't want you to think they're boring. Or it could be she's not interested in you and agreed to the date but is trying to tell you she's not interested by putting distance between you with texts

the girl actually said she wanted to meet me before I even brought it up. i don't know why some 1 would say that if they didn't mean it then again girls never mean what they say. when she text me back she says sorry I was busy all day but I see that she's on snapchat so I'm pretty sure she's bullshiting. I'm just not sure why they do this

Yah a girl did that to me once. didn't hear from her all day but she found time to post on Instagram lol well fine if I'm not important enough to you to get a frikin text message then you're not important enough to me to get a night out

Well sometimes taking a few hours to reply is fine. That shouldn't be a problem. However if a person is taking days, weeks to reply then it shows a clear lack of interest and casualness of the other person which is not good.

Few hours but if the reply comes on the same day, that shouldn't be a big issue.

yea i just think it only takes a couple seconds to reply so it doesn't make since to take half a day to reply even if you are realy busy

She may just be busy. Or easily distracted. I often forget I'm texting someone as get busy with something else. Or could be she doesn't want to be one of those people always attached to her phone constantly texting.

Sometimes they're actually busy. Other times they're talking to someone else who has their interest at the moment.

Best thing for you to do is to talk to other women yourself, OR find something to occupy your time/mind and stop overthinking it.

it doesn't bother me nearly as much as before and I am talking to other girls. I just think it's stupid to take 5, 6 hours to text back when it only takes a couple seconds. it doesn't really matter who I'm texting I still find it annoying but it's usually girls who do it.
also when she replies she says sory I was busy all day etc. but I see she's on social media so I'm pretty sure she's bullshiting most of the time. I'm just not sure the reason for her doing this.

because they're not intrested if they were they wouldn't take hours to reply. the diffrence is that she said she wants to meet and we already have a date set. so I would take that as a clear sign of intrest but yet takes half a day to respond.
she says she's really busy but at the same time I see her on social media so she obviously has a little bit of free time. it kinda seems like bullshit I'm just not sure why she does it possibly to make it look like she has a lot going on and to avoid looking needy? I think it's pretty stupid tho?
