Is it normal for girls to text back 10-15 minutes to reply

Alright so after contemplating and growing the balls to talk to this girl I happened to get her number. That was that and 4 hours later I texted her and we texted back and forth maybe like 10 times.

My first question is, "Is it normal for girls to text back 10-15 minutes to reply?"

and my Second questions is "I feel that she fell asleep on me texting. It is the first time we ever texted each other. Should I text her tomorrow morning? Afternoon? Or wait for her?

Firstly, 10-15 minutes response time from a woman is good, means she wants to converse with you and reply straight away but thinking carefully about what to say to make a good impression- she likes you!

10 texts is a lot, so she's keen, but someone's got to end it or you'll text all night, she either ran out of witty things to say or she may have even ran out of phone credit if she's on a pay as you go mobile.

I would wait until the evening and then text her a simple "hey, how was your day?" :) If her friends are advising her to take things slow she might not reply till the next day, but depends on how "strong willed" she is, most women when they really like a guy can't wait it out and will text the guy back within the hour. But don't be surprised if she leaves it an hour so she doesn't look "to keen".

Frankly, she kept the convo going for 10 texts, no one does that unless they like the person texting. Just maybe from this point on keep it down to a few texts and end the convo yourself by saying something like, "okay well I gotta run, chat later" or something like that, then leave it 2 days before you text her again, trust me if she likes you she's checking her phone every 10 mins, so when she gets your text 2 days later she will be super happy. It may seem a bit mean, but it builds a bit of "I want you" tension.

Hey well done on the weight loss by the way, I am in the same situation, dropped 4 dress sizes since Oct and also single after 17 years- suddenly guys are telling me I'm hot, lol! No Problem you deserved it! ha ha She didn't text me today... and I didn't text her either. IS it okay if I wait till tomorrow? and when she texts she never puts any smiley faces and stuff... Usually when I text girls I get that. Does that mean she's not into me?

I'd texted her mid-afternoon, just hey "Hey cutie, how's your day?" or something light, as you have already had a long text convo with her you could be a little flirty and see how she responds. Put a smily on the end of your text and see if you get one back- she may not have smilies on her phone, may not have credit...50 reasons she has not texted you including playing it cool. Just keep it short and light. I'd say she's just playing a little hard to get or as its the weekend just busy. x

Yeah its normal when I text people, I do a quick text and just leave it somewhere like on yhe bed, sofa lol etc. just make sure that yu don't reply staight away, take the same amount of time as she does. & did.she text yu first snd.fall asleep. And what time? And.the texts you sent each other did they sound like she put effort into the texts?

You should've waited a day before the first text, but what's done is done, so now def wait for her to text back. If there is one things girls hate, it's clinginess.

So if she doesn't text me by late afternoon should I initiate the text? And also she wouldn't text me out of pity right? (My bad I used to be obese and cut down to normal weight and still have insecurities) -getting used to the new body-

no don't initiate first if your last conversation just ended abruptly with her not texting back. I understand, you may be really into this girl and refraining from texting her is hard, but you should definitely let her text you next. Trust me, if a girl is into you, she WILL text you back after you made the initial contact without any follow up required. If she doesn't, I'd say cut your losses and move on because it's a poor choice to wait on anyone who doesn't give you their time of day.
