Why would someone have a party for their divorce? Getting party decorations, reserving venues, and stuff like that? I get that divorce is more common and accepted now than in the past and that friends want to show support, but a party? A celebration?
I wouldn’t do all that but for some people it really is a celebration. They can be getting away from a repeat cheater, a user, an abuser, anything. We don’t know the terms of that divorce, but my guess is if someone’s throwing a whole party, it had to have been bad and emotionally taxing.

Probably because Leftists, Particularly Leftist women see marriage as something that you wipe your ass with and flush down the toilet. Not something that you work to preserve, and cherish. But something you abandon at the first inkling of problems.
I can understand it because if a marriage was that bad it's a relief to get out of it. I remember celebrating when I got divorced the first time
