Girl called me a player. Now what?

So I was talking to this girl but I had a crush on her. I complimented her way too much and she didn't want to talk to me anymore, even though I told her to let me know if I'm going too far for her to handle and she didn't. So I moved on to her friend and she burst out saying I'm a player. Now apparently her friend is going around telling everyone at school that I'm a player and just looking for sex, which I'm not. So how do I convince her that I am not?

be genuine, a lot of compliments usually seems fake so it makes it look like you're looking for sex. just talk to her normally, don't go out of your way to compliment her. dating her friend also seems like you don't care or you're trying to make her jealous. at your age I think apologising and becoming friends with her again and not dating anyone for a while is the best way to convince her.. good luck

Don't go from person to person so quickly. If things dont work out give it some time before you move on. it also doesn't look good that you moved on to her friend. it makes it seem you just used the first girl to get to the friend.

Well I didn't use her to go for her friend. I just moved on to her because she seemed very nice. And she didn't understand that I apologize like 3 times and still wouldn't forgive me so.
