How to sleep over at a guy's house without parents knowing?

I have been dating this guy for the last couple of months and we have really taken the time to get to know each other without rushing into anything. But now I feel like it's time for taking things further because it feels right.

I'm 18, but not really allowed to have a boyfriend for my parents who are overly protective, but I really like this boy. I don't want to lie to my parents, but I know what they will say if a tell them the truth, they will scream and get upset.. how can I get away with this? Should I just tell them that I'm going to a friend's house, but if I do, then my dad will drive me to make sure that I'm really sleeping over there. What should I do?

To solve this without being sneaky would be difficult at best. I understand that your parents are overprotective, but as long as you live with them they're going to feel like they have the right to control you. Once you move out though, everything is fair game and you shouldn't have to bend your knee to their demands anymore. THAT would be the best way to spend the night with someone-- being independent either by yourself or with a roommate.

Other than that, you would have to lie to your parents about where you are or where you're going. I don't recommend that because it's risky and you'll have to remember all of your fibs.

But that's all I can think to say: As long as you live with your parents they're gonna hound your ass about everything, UNLESS they're chill parents, which, they don't sound like they are. You're old enough to make decisions now, I'm sure they just want to keep you a virgin as long as they can.
