Do You Really Believe That No One Is Too Busy To Reply To You?

So as most of you know I'm seeing someone. We haven't known each other for that long but I am starting to like him so far. We've been talking a lot lately but sometimes it takes awhile for him to respond and I feel like he doesn't want to talk to me. When I tell him that I feel this way his first reply is "why are you saying that?" We had a conversation yesterday on the phone and he told me that he's not trying to blow me off and that he's really busy with finding a job and a place of his own and rooming with his sister hasn't been that great. I understand that because I'm in the same situation as far as looking for a job and stuff. I say all this to ask do you really believe that no one is too busy to reply to you? I've seen so many people so quick to say nobody is too busy to reply blah blah blah, mainly on Facebook but I've had moments where I've been hella busy and I didn't get back to whoever I was talking to.

it is tough to tell, because of the distance between where you live and where is living.

I would enjoy the conversation as best you can and after awhile you 2 will know if this is a good fit.

If you 2 are chatting for at least an hour or 2 everyday and are touching base a couple of times,, where he calls you at least 1/2 the time and you think he enjoy the chatting, then so far so good.

Right now, I think you have a natural curiosity of trying to figure out how he is wired and making sure he isn't living a double life. But also you are exposing how you are wired to him as well.

That little nervousness when 2 people are getting know each other and the distance makes it harder to know authenticity of the other's heart.

If he is a bit shy and you are a little more outgoing it will take a little getting use too,,

Cupid is a mad scientist who sucks lol but the distance isn't that bad driving wise it's just hard to make time right now due to our situations as you know since we've talked. He does reply back to me and he's not short when he does answer. I just can't shake that feeling but I told him I wouldn't bring it up because I've asked him this several times and I don't want to mess anything up.

You probably feel better to ask and get that part behind you,, the relationship is barely started and the most important things for lover's to do is get inside one another's mind, like a revolving door.

But that takes time and mutual trust so I think you are right to take it slow.

Cupid the mad scientist does suck, until there is a match. I think taking it slow with a daily chat is a good sign,, if he skips a day or two (three max),, (unless he ends up in the ER) I'm not sure it would be a good match for you or any woman, because he may not have the capacity to stimulate a woman's mind.

He may be going through a self-conscious phase of looking for a job and staying with his sister, while not rushing into the first job that he will regret taking.

I face this problem mostly as I am indulged in other activities in which I remain genuinely busy but people think that I don't want to respond to their messages. I never give any clarification if I am busy as I hope that the person would be mature enough to understand that person can be busy.

Even when I receive late response it is little bit frustrating but I never ask for clarification.

I'm trying to get to that point but I have serious trust issues because my exes were liars and always told me they were doing this and that when in fact fucking other bitches. He's even told me he's not seeing anyone else or stringing me along but I still have that feeling.

I believe if it's someone important, especially the person you started seeing and have developed feelings towards them, then yes you can't be that busy to reply back. It takes 2 seconds to text back that you're busy atm and that you'll text them later. The only time I forget to text back is when is someone not really important or if it's my best friend sending some stupid shit, lol. Even if I'm working and not able to check my phone, I'll check it the moment I get the chance. It happens really rarely that I don't check my phone the entire day but that's only if I'm single and there's no one in the picture and I'm like in the meeh mood all day.

The guy I'm dating will reply to me the moment he sees my text. Sometimes it takes him 2 mins to see it and sometimes 2 hours. I'm totally okay getting the response when he sees it, whenever that is, but I'm not okay with no response when he DOES see it, especially if I asked him a question. We often send emoticons and some stupid stuff to each other, just a small text to let know each other we think about each other, it doesn't always have to be a question. And he always responds to those emoticons too. If he sends just a kiss or smth like that and doesn't continue the convo then I know he's busy. If he prolongs it then I know he's not busy and we can text or talk. Same goes for me.

No, something is up, a guy did this to me and when I spoke to him about it, he accused me of wanting the world to revolve around me and called me a narcissist, bruh he went awwwf.
I saw him on FB and he was ignoring my messages. No one is that busy, let them be since they wanna play around.

I am one of these men. I only text when I know for certain that I can give my attention enough to be able to have a text conversation.

Replying to a text, knowing that I'm busy and won't respond to a reply, just seems nonsensical.

People can be genuinely busy and take time to reply. Just observe the general pattern and how they are when they do this. What you need to watch out for are the major changes.. e. g. Going from lots of contact to none responsive etc. Then you know something's wrong. In the early stages you're still getting know behaviour patterns just observe for now.

Communication is so easy these days that there isn't really an excuse anymore

If I'm late to work and I'm running off, I'll be driving a while and once I get there I'll run to clock in and start my work day, I will reply when I get off 8 hrs later.

Do whatever you like... at the end of the day we always know who puts us on their priority list or doesn't and that's the point.., no one is too busy.. it's priorities

If he is a priority... it's better to acknowledge his response in some way shape or form
If this dude takes forever all the time (once in a while is ok).. she's obviously not his priority

Lol whether or not you text a person is not an essential part of what makes that person a priority. Really, a text is just a text. No one will lose communication cause someone's a bad texter. Some people just prefer other forms of communication, like dates and occasional phone calls. You don't have to be in continuous contact 24/7. If I can, okay, I'll text. But seriously texting is not as important as you're making it.

could be he is busy with things going on with job and place hunting. maybe he is a bit protective because he is at his sister's and not a place of his own. i would not want my family in my business until I have my own place and a job just my 2 cents
