Why can't girls make a first move?

I guess it's easy to give into the fear of rejection when making the first move has so long been the man's responsibility.

Everytime I've made the first move, I've been rejected. It's not that shocking since I've only done it a few times but it has started to seem pointless. I guess it hurts even more when you finally get up the courage to go against the norm and make the first move and then you're shot down. I know that I shouldn't get rewarded just because I force myself to do something men have to do all the time. But making the first move gets more scary each time I get rejected. At this point, it kinda doesn't seem worth it.

i know what you mean i had given up for quite awhile. whenever i make the move i seem to crash and burn.

but i realized that i have to get over it and try again if im gonna find love. i think the hardest part is blocking out the insecurities and recognizing the wall of excuses is fear.

I try to make first moves with the fact that I don't have much confidence and I get very shy and nervous around hot girls. You know I look very creepy when I approach them. Even if I know I would get rejected, still, I approach them. Not much success yet.

Now imagine being an introverted man. Its definitely not easy even if you're moderately attractive girls don't flock to you. Most girls can be average or even below average and still have multiple options. Us guys really don't have that going for us, unless we're model caliber attractive.

I live in a country where talking to strangers is basically not acceptable unless you're in a specific setting (bar or a party etc). Meeting anyone is tricky as it is and then we have these stupid social rules to make it even harder.

Well I'm a girl and I always make the first move. It's pointless to sit around and wait for a guy. I encourage all women to try. Men have to get rejected on a daily basis, and it's only fair haha.
But also I do see where girls are coming from. A lot of guys at my high school would make a girl feel horrible when he would reject her. Well maybe because there was a LOT of dicks there haha😂🤦🏻‍♀️

they can and sometimes do. It takes a bit of confidence on their part and a lot of guys are intimidated by that. in this day and age it should be more accepted but it still is not. For me it is not intimidating. in fact I find it refreshing. I just don't have a lot of time in my life to chase them anyway so I welcome the certainty this offers but they are few and far between

There are some reasons why some girls don't make the first move including but not limited to:
- shy, fear, emotional barrier
- laziness, entitlement - none of which you want to have in your girl.
- possible social stigma
- may have given up
- women have a steady supply of interested men asking them out. So why should they?

It's only because a girl feels more secure if a guy asks first it... that he really likes her that he tried making her his before someone else would , that he couldn't wait... you can't change biology to geography I mean a male specie is suppose to chase and make steps for his female to follow... if not it means that the guy is not worth it
Usually girls that chase and make first move those relationships do not last longer very rare
