Why don't women make the first move?

I have no problem in making it, but it just bugs me: why don't women make the first move? I mean, is it because of the slut shaming? Is it because, according to the social norm, men are supposed to make all the heavy lifting? Is it because you still believe that all that is worthwhile wii fall onto your lap?

OFF-TOPIC: DO you know that double standard "men bangs 1000 women, he's a hero. Women bangs 1000 men, she's a slut"? I think that this is a byproduct of the belief that men should make the first move, basically making men the key and women the lock on this situation.

Can you tell me the reasons why you don't make the first move?

To be honest I don't like it when guys make the first move. I feel more secure knowing I have the control to make the decision to talk to him. I also get a little impatient. I usually shy away from men who make the first move because I always find that most of the time their personality clashes with mine. I like equals. I'm not sure why. Of course there is something special about feeling protected and secured but I always make the first move. I call the shots. I say when. I don't wait or I don't go fast. I like to take it at the natural pace it's meant to be taken. And the off topic question:
It's an age old belief that Woman must be chaste and pure and give only to men who they deem are "best fit" That's why in animals the males would literally fight one another to mate with the female. Men mate with women and with many women as possible because it is their "job" to pass on their genes. Women must pick the best to carry on the human race. When you get down to it.

Guys like the chase too much and they get butt hurt if we do especially if they have friends that make fun of them... and then they don't bother persueing us afterwards... then if we try to persue them they make us look like a psycho stalker... yeh... i just let guys chase me because in the past where i've chased a couple of guys they called me a psycho stalker... but then when i ignore them they suddenly want my attention lol.

Women like men who are brave, heroic, and confident. Men who make the first move and wow the woman fit the description. And the men who don't get screened out and don't make the cut. If women did all the first moves, they'd find themselves wasting lots of time on timid weak guys who don't know how to be real men.

I know, it sucks. I've been there and it is one of the hardships guys have to go through and try to figure out. I too wish society wouldn't pressure men so much, and instead make it equal pressure for both genders.

It also sucks for women who are crushing on a man they like; they flirt with him over and over again hoping he'd ask her out and he never does. Even though he probably would say yes if she invited him out.

The bigger question we must ask is why does society and media depict guys who use direct approaches on girls they like as creeps?

We also waste time on idiotic little bitches who don't know how to be real women, so the point you're trying to make is kinda flawed. It's a risk everyone has to be willing to take.
When we're talking about dating, please don't say "women like men who slare confident, heroic and such and such". Confidence is easy to fake, you know? You're implying that a man who isn't all that is a pussy and doesn't deserve a real woman. Just because a man hasn't abundant confidence coming out of his pores, it doesn't mean he's a pussy. Confidence is a spectrum, not a binary system.
