Girls making the first move?

Okay, I know we’re in 2022 and women can do whatever we want because we’re strong individuals that don’t need a man.
BUT, how do guys actually feel about girls making the first move? I grew up with really traditional views and always had the mentality of waiting for a guy to ask me out (or, in the world of online dating, even suggesting meeting/calling/video chatting first).
However, I’m 30 and still single, so I guess I have room for change. Lol

I’ve been chatting with a guy for a couple weeks and I think we would probably probably click pretty well. I, like I’m sure most people, am so much better at actual conversations. I’ve had too many conversations fizzle when I think they may have had potential if we’d actually met (or at least talked).

So, do you guys ever wait for the girl to make a move first? Should I or does that seem pushy/desperate?

I've done actual comments here telling women to do the first move because it's 2022. Regardless of it being attractive or not, it's the way to do something about the person they like. The posts were exactly talking about some guy they were interested in, but they were just "how long should I wait for him to come before I forget him?". It's beyond laughable. I know it's absurd to conceive the idea, considering how easy it is to have a guy talking to you, but how likely is him to magically be better than the guy you saw that caught your eye?

Its actually fine for a woman to initiate, especially as most guys are more reluctant these days in case they come on too strong etc.

I think a woman initiating contact with a guy and encouraging him to make that first verbal move (Ask you out) or first physical move (first kiss) is best and most welcome, but if dealing with a more shy guy, it's also maybe worth initiating a meet up too.
