No scripture of the bible says a woman can't make the first move. My girl made the first move. A virtuous woman can't be found. Her price is above rubies. And love involves two seekers. One seeking to find and another seeking to be found. If she helps you find her, there ain't no sin there.

It is a girl's responsibility to make the first move by smiling and saying, "Hi" or otherwise indicating that she would be receptive to being approached. In our modern society, it is dangerous for a guy to approach a girl that has not indicated she is approachable.

I think it’s actually good. Girls who do have interest shouldn’t be waiting or hoping for the guy to make the move and just go for it. Life is short, tomorrow is anything but promised. Live each day to the fullest and as is it was the last. Now rejection is okay, but as long as the guy or gir did it respectfully. Now of course, it should be done respectfully as long as he or she was respectful in the way that person was asking you out.

I don't mind if she makes the first move to let me know she is interested. Sometimes I am clueless otherwise, but not 100% of the time. So it's helpful for me.

But I would like to be the one to ask her out officially on a date.

I was painfully shy and even if I was sure that a girl liked me I would be too scared to make a move. Sometimes a girl would take the initiative and ask me on a date.

I don't like it when girls make the first move, it makes her look desperate and cheap. It's a turn off for me. But some guys would prefer it, (shy guys mostly).  So it depends.
