I have and am still in that relationship. He moved away early on, which I knew from the start since he was staying at my hometown just temporarily. I stayed back, finished my studies and moved after him. Now we live in the same city again. But it would certainly depend on the situation. Whether or not it was possible for us to make the LDR to an SDR in a reasonable amount of time or not. By reasonable, I mean a year, a year and a half max.
