Should you date during your senior year of high school?

I am going to be a high school junior with a small but spotty dating history over the past year or so. after being hurt at the end of last year, I have been contemplating wether or not to attempt to date someone else senior year before college. This is mostly because I am planning to go to college across the country and I don't want people to think I am just someone who always has to be dating someone else. That said, I know I should date in high school because that is just what high school is for and dating is amazing and fun on it's own. I'd love to hear what others have to say about this.

You are definitely overthinking this. If you find a person that you are willing to date, then approach them and date them, if not, don't bother doing that. It's all up to you. It doesn't matter what I think. It's your own life.

don't date in High school. focus on your education. That's why you're there.
