Would it be okay for a freshman and junior in high school to date?

Okay so I'm asking this because I do not know what kind of answer/advice I should give to my younger sister. She is a freshman and is currently talking to a junior guy. This would normally mean that there is roughly a two year age difference and they apparently have a one year and ten months age difference. Do you guys think it would be fine for them to date? I think it's fine as far as they're on the right "path" but I don't know what the right answer is since this is just my opinion. I'm mainly concerned about when the guy graduates first and goes off to college and she'll still be in high school. Anyways, I would appreciate some answers so I can come to a decision on what to tell her.

I would recommend against it. When he graduates and probably goes onto college, she's still going to be in high school, and they would probably have a difficult long-distance relationship. It's okay for them to do things together, but I wouldn't call it dating.
