I think that what people SAY they want in a partner is quite often not actually what they want. Dating advice from someone who speaks solely from their personal experience may be great advice but it may also be meaningless. I accept the advice as well intended, I reflect upon what was said, and I accord it the respect I think it deserves. We all have the capacity to watch these dating advice videos with a skeptical mind and I don't need a MGTOW spokesman to tell me what to think.

The MGTOW crowd is certainly not composed of 1,000,000 identical men but those who are vocal seem to have some common qualities. Beneath the words that they express, I hear that they have been hurt and that they feel pessimistic about their chances of finding a companion for a long term relationship.

They need to vent their hurt and they do it like a 17 year old kid who is badmouthing the girl that broke up with him 2 months ago. If you don't want to date women. . . no one is forcing you to do that! Just leave them alone. Some guys do that so I know it is possible. To continually badmouth women and talk about them as if they are all the same is rather sophomoric. I don't need to take dating advice from some guy whose real motivation comes from "getting even" with women because he once had a girl use him.

As for specific responses in the video, I don't want to reply to them individually. I would simply note that intelligent people can always rationalize and justify their behavior and this guy is no exception. That does not mean that his advice is good or represents the best advice possible. Each person must make that decision for himself or herself.

I don't know whether the author of this video had the legal right to appropriate the young lady's video and rip it to shreds, but that question is secondary. Having the legal right to do something does not make it the right thing to do. Taking this girl's video and holding her up to ridicule is mean-spirited and it says much about the author and the kind of person that he is.

Man, this guy's has really entrenched himself in his chosen generalization of all women. I don't think there is anything an woman could say that would ever make him feel positively about the gender, or having a relationship. It's a bitter way to live.

MGTOW need to actually go their own way, but they don't. They are liars. I know this because they they fly around my blog and my articles I've had published online. That's how I even found out who they are years ago. If you look deeper into their attitude, behavior, and psyche, they are the type of men who just can't get along with women, unless women are submissive and have no say of their own. They want spineless lapdogs who will bend at their will. And we all know that good men don't want that. Just ignore them. There are plenty of better men to focus on.

I agree that divorce rape and entitlement among women is becoming a very serious issue...

But MGTOW people are literally no better than feminists. And in many ways they are even worse. I knew a MGTOW guy who complained about "those awful evil women" all the time. Lo and behold he got a girlfriend and his ideology has been completely flipped like a switch... it's like... if you're going to have opinions, at least stick to them...

It's a guy who clearly has very little relationship experience despite what sounds like perfectly good logical reasoning on his part. And that's part of the problem lol. This guy is inexperienced, and if he has had relationships he never learned from them. Sandman is kinda a misogynist. He crosses the line between personal choice and hating females... He's stated he doesn't hate women but it's not evidenced by some of his videos. His videos are often cherry picked arguments that don't often represent the rest of the world outside his limited examples.

MGTOW seem to take everything, blow it up to the extreme... to the point where it becomes a charicature and live by that set of ridiculous notions.

I wonder if they ever go outside... because by their logic, every guy looks like Ryan gosling and drives a lambo. I wonder how many of these guys come from broken homes and we're raised by single mothers... or parents are still happily married, is their dad a 6'2, alpha bad boy who beats people down for looking st him and rich.

I've seen people call them neckbeards, haters, losers, virgins and more... but I rarely, if ever see people saying how happy they are to be left alone by them, strange.

I understand why MGTOW is a thing, given how relationships are so casual now in these days it seems women are superficial. I don't completely agree with MGTOW because I think it discredits women who actually are genuine. My concern with MGTOW is that it will outcast and shame women just like Feminism in 2017 is outcasting and shaming men.
