Why does my boyfriend still follow girls on social media that he used to like/crush on?

This makes me feel really insecure :/ some of those girls no longer follow him, but he still follows them. And he likes nearly every selfie they post :(
This makes me feel insecure because they were girls he wanted to date at one time, and wanted to have sex with, and built a connection with. I don’t understand.

Are these girls his friends? School friends, maybe? Then it's ok to be friends on social media as well. Adding people on social media means you know them, not that you like them.

It is also possible that the 'girls' your boyfriend adds aren't girls, but bots. There are a lot of bots on social media pretending to be girls, they send friend requests to a lot of people for many reasons, most of which have to do with someone somewhere making money. Is your boyfriend the type that accepts every friend request? If so, there is a reason to worry about the security of his data, but not about your relationship.

Talk with him that you are jealous when he like pictures of other girls. If they don't follow back then no need to worry. See his reaction and Response.

Curiosity is normal, but if you find that you’re constantly compelled to creep and jumping to conclusions, there may be bigger issues at hand. Make sure you discuss any trust issues or concerns you have with your partner. If he’s the guy for you, he’ll understand and you can work on it together.

This is kind of silly tbh, I don't know why the other guys are making it out to be a big deal. If he's just liking them just like anyone elses posts then it's no problem they're just people he follows. You should be worried if he is commenting things that are inappropriate or messaging them but otherwise don't stress about it, he's with you for a reason and worrying about small things like this could cause friction in your relationship

As I said, if he isn't making moves on any of them or talking to them then it shouldn't really matter. Liking pictures on social media is a really impersonal thing we all do nowadays anyway without giving much thought. And I've had conversations with girls I've loved long after we broke up and we just talk like two normal people or old friends, just because there were feelings there at the time doesn't mean there are any now

Hmmmm. But it bothers me that he likes the selfies of one girl in particular that he used to have a crush on. Like, he hasn’t missed a single one, basically :/ and for my exes, i don’t really want much to do with them. I hope the best for them, but i rarely like their photos.
