Why does my boyfriend still follow girls he used to crush on and girls he’s not friends with?

I went through his following on ig (I feel pretty embarrassed about doing that) and now I’m feeling a little skeeved out by him. He still follows girls from our town he’s expressed interest in, some don’t follow him back. And still actively follows more girls he’s gone to highschool with or simply from his neighborhood growing up. Am I wrong to bring this up to him? He’s made me block guys on my instagram that he didn’t feel comfortable about and I did it with no problem. Now I’m just curious why he feels this need to keep following these girls, it’s not like they’re friends or anything.

Because he’s a man who has more than one favorite flavor of ice cream. Maybe age too. I check out a lot of women but I do t follow them. Nothing you can do about men checking out other women.
