He used to stalk them (show up at their workplace, knowing where they are and what they do all the time). Now he has found himself a girlfriend he is proud of but he still stalks his former crushes. Why?

Could be many reasons but one of them is that it's very hard to let someone you loved go away out of your life. You can't force him either, you have to make him understand that you want your relationship with him to stick, and ask him to talk about it and try to solve it together. If he is still obsessed there's almost nothing you can do
