My ex and I are friends now (I still have feelings for him) and it was my birthday the other day so he said “Happy Birthday Shawty”. I got confused because I thought “shawty” was used to describe an attractive woman or a woman a guy likes/is dating.
That following night at 2 AM, he randomly messaged me asking how my birthday was, and I found it odd because why would he message me about that at that late hour?
