It depends on how much you use social media, and how much yo SO cares.. I think a picture or 2 if you use social media a lot is sorta important.. Cause otherwise unless you write it in a bio how well people know that you got somebody..
When I have a boyfriend i am not going to post a lot of pictures of us or us or share everything about our relationship. I don't really like to share everything on social media.
Both people in a relationship want to feel they are part of the relationship. Unfortunately social media is the only way many people feel validated these days.
It's not important to me at all, unless she's an avid poster. If she posts pictures of daily events on a regular schedule, but never shares a single photo of me, I might be a little suspicious.
Some pictures maybe, but not a lot. It kinda feels like the people who post a lot are really insecure and have to show people that everything is good in their relationship.
I don’t think it is important at all but it does show (females in my opinion) that they’re proud to have them and basically saying, “THIS IS MY GIRL!!” It’s a special sign for most girls that it’s real. If they don’t want to most would think it’s because they’re trying to hide it from someone else they are involved with.
Sometimes you don't want people to pree. It can end up working against you. I had some crazy person in my social media and if backfired on me posting pics with my man
it isn't important in any objective sense. it may be important to members of the relationship but in the grand scheme of things it is utterly meaningless
I personally don't like to share my private life on social media, but that's just me. If someone posts pictures very often on FB and IG but doesn't show his/her partner in any of them, I'd think something weird is going on.
I don't think it's important since I'm not much of a social media person and I don't want everyone to know what's happening with me. But I guess now and then would be fine
It doesn't to me. I very rarely ever get on social media anyways so I could careless if my girlfriend doesn't post pictures of me on social medias like Facebook or anything.
Some people don't use social media that much, which is fine. But if I wanted to post a photo of us together and he he any objection to it, I'd immediately be suspicious.
If they dont want to post a picture because they dont like it then dont. But hopefully they would want to share the occasional picture at some point. Otherwise that's kinda sketchy.

I mean if it’s serious/ lasts a long time then it’s nice
My ex didn't, t never thought much of it until he tried to cheat on me with a girl who told me everything and now her and I are friends.
A relationship isn't defined by social media. My partner and I don't at all, save tagging each other in things. Doesn't make us bond as less strong.
It's weird if you oppose uploading pictures with your significant other. Once in a while, when you go somewhere together is fine.
Normally I'd say it's okay, but since I don't use my real name and face on the internet, I would actually mind if my so posted a picture of me.

I find if you don't post photos of your SO then you must be cheating. My ex didn't post photos of me and the whole relationship he was cheating on me.
I guess it shouldn't be important, but it does raise questions when someone literally forbids you to do it.
