Should I date this security guard?

I like this security guard but the only problem that I have is that people will say that he just a wannabee cop. I asked him why he chose this job and he said because it's safer than being a cop and that he will have a better social life.

I see this problem with a lot of women. They will like a guy, but are so agreeable that they allow other people to make hold them back over petty reasons. People who dont like security guards call ALL security guards "wannabe cops". Just like they call actual cops "Pigs". Are you going to not date a cop because people call him a pig? I hope you see how ridiculous this is. If you dont want to date him, let it be because he's not a good match for you, dont let it be because you are afraid that people are going to call him mean names. If you like him so much, you should be defending him anyway.

what a person's job is shouldn't dictate whether you want to date him or not. if you like him as a person then go for it.

You should decide to date him based on whether or not you like him, not what your friends might think of his job.
