Why do men call women shallow if they have certain standards?

Why can men have high standards but if women do then men get all pissy about it and call them shallow, stuck up, a bitch etc? It’s not unreasonable if women want a man that’s tall, muscular with a good body, good looking face, takes care of himself, dresses well, has a well paying job etc. Since I look good you should be within my league as well. I shouldn’t have to lower my standards for you. It works both ways: you get what you give.

Girls often want a guy stronger than them, taller than them, smarter than them, more wealthy than them and funnier than them. Which means guys get someone weaker, smaller, poorer, dumber and less funny than them. The only thing guys are slightly picky about is looks, and girls are just as picky.

Yes, but I could have gone way more in depth into that. It is hard to go to college if you get stuck working for minimum wage while living on your own. Also what ever happened to doing what you love? If he lives his job why does he have to make a lot? And if it is so asm easy to get wealthy why don't you stop asking for it in a guy and just get it yourself? What's that saying? You realize how little people who teach preschool and do day care make, right? And that is mostly women. Did they not work hard, did they not go to school?

Living on your own and working a minimum wage job makes it hard to go to school. The only way they could get there often is on a full scholarship and they still often end up in debt. You likely never had that problem.

I'm not making excuses for myself. I seem to meet all you listed standards, assuming I would look good to you of course.

usually I find that the standards men have, any woman can achieve (personality healthy weight etc), yet usually women have standards that most of them aren't achievable (height, dick size, looks etc)
oh and most women who are like "Oh I want a tall handsome rich young guy with a nice car blah blah blah" aren't self aware at all that they're not close to being equal to such guys.

When you put your standards on display it comes off as very condescending for guys and girls alike. Anybody can have whatever standards they want, but at the end of the day, those who dont meet those standards will ultimately be upset. Realistically speaking, there are more men that dont meet women's standards than women that don't meet men's standards so that's why it might seem that way. But trust me, it sounds pretentious both ways when people announce their standards to the whole world.
