My girlfriend lies about when she is going to sleep?

so, almost every night, we'll be messaging eachother and at some point she'll say she's going to sleep. but when she says that she's gone to bed i see her going on and off of social media for hours after she said she's going to sleep. what could be some reasons she's doing this?

Lmao. Means she’s trying to sleep but can’t and goes on her phone. Don’t take it personal. I have friends who do this and their boyfriends get mad but she tells me she just can’t sleep. I never tell people I’m going to bed really though i message them until I fall asleep.

She just wants time to sit on her phone before going to sleep without having to text anyone because if she gets sleepy mid conversation she doesn't just want to cut it off and go to sleep or fall asleep and never respond
