Pickup lines! Yay or nay?

Ok, personally i hate pickup lines. I mean, they are literally all stupid. But the worst part is some people actually fall for that shit. So that's what I think.

I have only seen one working ie "how u doing". And it only worked because the girl was a fan of the sitcom friends and they hit it off (the above pickup line was a dialogue used in the sitcom friends)

Pickup lines are not like some secret password you can use to get laid. But you can use them to display attractive traits. If you say a funny pickup line in the right way, it can be a display of humor, of charm, and of courage. If you can then follow that up with good social skills and the rest of what you're offering is all right, you might have a chance.
