To explain it better: Well I've tried to be in a typical relationship. You know, a woman under a man's wing (metaphorically). I don't like it at all, I prefer giving affection, support, and protection to another person, making them feel safe under your wing. It is hard to find a man that would be in that kind of relationship so I just want to know if that kind of man exists but is too shy to admit it. Don't worry that doesn't make you less of a man :)

You're 15! You prefer giving suppor? Not financial support, right? Feel protected? I am not sure what you would be protecting a SO from I don't know how that one would even happen. But ok, look, a few more years and these outlooks are probably going to change to some extent. They may not completely change but good chance at least some will. Also it is not a bad thing how your thinking now. It's really not. But let's say you find a 17-18 kid and he doesn't work. You somehow are holding down a part time and going to school. Your busting your ass. You make the mistake of feeding this animal and now he doesn't leave. You get attached. Your doing 6 hours of school. Then you get off and do 6 hours of work. You are now off. You want to see this thing you decided to adopt. He isn't in school. He doesn't work. You made the mistake of handing money a few times so now he just holds his hand out expecting it. He didn't mow the lawn. He didn't clean the house. He spent the last money you gave him on weed. He smoked it and went to the skate park. You begin to talk to him about your concerns and he isn't having it. He has had a long day with Tommy and skakting. He is too tired.
My point is your too young to get bent out of shape because of this stuff. Be young. Stay young. Support yourself. Worry about your self. Life is still easy now. Couple more years and it's starts to pick up. Stay young forever
It depends *entirely* on your view (and scope) of the word "dominant". Personally, I find a woman who can be dominant and submissive alternatively to be quite alluring...
For instance, there can be several times where socially, she might be the smarter, more capable and adroit person that knows *exactly* how to act in a given situation, and the guys kinda of a social retard...
A wise woman knows how to put her man first, and store up the "nagging frustrations" w/ him, *and then attack him with it in the bedroom!*
(Looks out at the sea of guys... "Yeah?" I can't think of a single guy who wouldn't think he had the best lady in the WORLD, if she worked *with him* like that.)
I mean, there's hot, and then there's "God DAMN I'm taking her advice from now on!" Lol)😅
But it's a careful balancing act, because it's easy for the guy to get it backwards (esp. over time), because biochemistry is on the side of the man getting the "reward" portion of that backward, and think she *wants him to be a social idiot so they can make up in the sack*... (i. e.; watch out for that headboard...)😂
But, that too, can work in both people's favor; it keeps her in tune with his "inner energy" state, and it keeps him psycho-emotively conscious to how she sees things in the world - which helps keep him "rooted" (& not acting like such a 🤬)...😉
Got it, but I would never let a woman be the dominant person in the relationship because experience like you has taught me that even the most dominant females want a king.
I don't really mind a dominant girl. In fact, I find it quite hot. I got a friend who's much more dominant than I am. Honestly, I wouldn't mind that in a relationship.
When we're together, more often than not, she'll lead and I'll follow, but she's still open to me leading when there's something I wanna do. This is quite important. Not just when the girl is dominant, but also when the guy is. It's important to not always be the one that takes control, is protective and supportive. Sometimes you must let there be room for your partner to be the one in control, and you must let them support you. Show some weakness.
A good relationship always makes room for both partners to dominate.
In my current relationship, I'm the one leading 99% of the time though. I wish it was different, and I try to let her lead, but she's not good at taking initiative. This is also a problem that can occur in a relationship.
Personally I love to follow, and if she doesn't lead every now and then, I feel the effort from her is a bit lacking. Like I'm the only one making an effort to keep our relationship going.

Well this is some deep topic here first I will assume than you are not over protective or like to be inx control and charge of everything that's just a killer right there regardless if you are man or woman with that aside I believe a successful relationship needs from both partners to be there for each other men are human beings that sometimes get broken or doubt themselves and when the other partner is mature enough to provide the necessary support and protection surly this help with that a said what you need is someone who looks at you and treat you as self independent woman who can take care of herself and him if needed but surly stay away from men who need a partner acting as mother.
No. normally I would not date a woman who is dominant...
but, when a woman is very rich, she will usually be dominant by nature, and in the case where she is the dominant one in the relationship, paying ALL the bills and allowing me to share in her wealth, I would date/marry her depending on her level of dominance... an overbearing person is unbearable, but an understanding and loving person can be dominant without being a tyrant...
so it really depends... a smart woman with a kind heart can control her man (and keep him happy) without him or anyone else even knowing it... and they are rare.
No I wouldn't. It doesn't make sense to me. For example you mention that you prefer to give protection to a guy. Unless the guy is disabled or for some reason really weak, the man will be the bigger and stronger partner physically. That's basic biology. Even the strongest of women score lower than the average untrained man when it comes to strength. Therefore, except in rare cases the man is the one most capable of protecting, not the woman.
We evolved to be this way. Nature wouldn't give us these traits if women were meant to be dominant. But for some reason people trust nature in everything but human relationships, then they become blinded by personal biases and ideological views.
Maybe the wing metaphor is a little disjointed. Affection and support can be given from under a wing. Protection can be given as well. It depends on what the dominance really means to you. If its decision making for the two of you. Then that could be good too. Depends on the weaknesses and strengths of the partners involved. If I dated a woman who was amazing with money and had a job like a lawyer I sure would let her run the show. Because I know my limitations with money. But if she were just dominant socially and wanted what she wanted without a reason we can both agree on. well then no.
This is very personal and subjective. I prefer a more or less equal relationship when it comes to support. We should be supporting and protecting each other when we need it instead of one party having to be "strong" all the time. I find that makes for more stable relationships. Of course the dynamic can be quite different sexually than it is in the rest of everyday life but I don't think that's what you ask about.
But I've known guys that wanted a strong dominant and protective woman and I've known guys that was turned off by it. They surely exist.
Of course that kind of man exists. Giving affection, support and protection is very broad and obscure though, so without knowing in what way you mean it is hard to direct you in the right direction; for instance, you could definitely find a man that fits your criteria in the ABDL or age play community. If diapers are a turn off for you there are generally a smaller percentage of men looking for a Mommy Dom-Little Boy Dynamic relationship where diapers and baby paraphernalia are not involved. I'm good for both tbh, so long as on either end: the woman isn't always a damsel in distress and can be self reliant at least some of the time, we are adults after all. If the woman wants to be the dominant one, that's fine too, but I'm not going to be treated as a pushover either or abused
Most men are just not used to relating to women that way, it will take some time but you'll find someone compatible. There are plenty of men out there who will appreciate your affection. My own view is to remember the rule of mutual affection in an equal relationship you shouldn't do for another what you dont want yourself to be done to you. Many men could due with a healthy course in this, but if you remember not to smother with protection thrs nothing wrong with looking out for one another and rescuing each other from time to time
I think there probably is - You will probably find that you and a lot of men are "Switches" basically happy to be in either role and you take turns being dominant, or are dominant in different ways just adapting to roles that best compliment your relationship - It is quite rare to find someone who is totally dominant or submissive in all the facets of their personality.
Honestly I might go for something like that. I mean I've always played a support role and I've never really liked to leadership. So to answer your question yes there are people out there like that. Life is a long and Wild Ride filled with tons and tons of people you'll meet I'm sure you'll find someone.

Both myself and my partner are supportive in the exact manners you describe. It works out very well and we've enjoyed a very stable and rewarding relationship.
Plus we're stable enough to provide the same kind of support to friends and other people in our lives.
First off the " Don't worry that doesn't make you less of a man " statement for some will be a brief peek into troublesome relationship if one had to get into it. Now i have no problems with a dominant female as long as you know how to dial back some of it when i also being dominant as well; in any relationship there's a 50/50 split, if you're looking to take a 60/40 or even a 80/20 then you're looking for a child not a man; and no man wants to date his mother.
Yes... I would definitely date a woman who was dominant in a relationship. Just as long as her dominance that’s broadcasted doesn’t emasculate me as a man. Well i personally dont have a problem dating that type of girl because i dont doubt my self when it comes time to act and truly protect. I think/see it rather cute when my girl stands up for me. Makes me like them more because it shows that she is protecting what she cares about and won't just let anyone walk off with them. Only ones that are scared to be dominated are ones that dont believe they are more masculine
Actually, I think from my opinion, dominance in a relationship shouldn't be one party thing. It's a two way thing. sometimes as a man I need a girl be dominance and gives me orders. That's because sometimes I would lose direction. And no way I'm going to get help except through an assertive partner who loves me and knows me well. And a lot of time it's the opposite way.
Dominant doesn't mean anything. As a PERSON, you got to know how to take charge of your life. If she tried to dominate my life by controlling me, then no, but if she is just got a strong dominant personality, then yes. To me that means this girl has charge of her life and knows what she wants.
I might be wrong here, but you're making it seem like the "dominant" individual is solely responsible for providing affection, support and protection. It sounds like the other individual is relieved of such duties, thus making it sound like a rather poor relationship in my opinion. Both individuals are responsible for making each other feel safe, happy and loved. There shouldn't be any defined roles in relationships.
Dominant in bed, yeah. Dominant in general, I'm not so sure about that. Giving up control can be a turn on for me, but I don't think I could give it up 24/7 and "let her wear the pants". At a certain point I'd want to take back the reigns and demonstrate some leadership.
I wouldn't feel comfortable in that relationship to be honest. But it depends on the person. You are the same age as my girlfriend sister, strong athletic girl for her age and it's always challenging me on stuff. From arm wrestling to chess. I guess there are more girls like you two nowadays.

Maturity plays major role here. I was married to a VERY dominating woman... I was #3... And found out why. Now some 20 years later I may see myself needing that direction at times... but the belittling and constantly embarrassing behavior she would display, no matter the situation or occasion reminds me why it didn't work. by the way, she's on #9 as I write this...
Not that I think women should be submissive, but for me personally, no. I'm dominant myself so that constant power struggle gets really annoying. Some people say they want an even relationship, those I'm convinced don't exist. It might not be blatantly obvious who's more dominant but someone always is

I prefer someone who wants to be my equal: we rely on each other, give each other attention and support, and make decisions through communication and consensus. If I can't have that, I'll settle for a partner who's submissive. I can't see myself being happy in a relationship with a dominant woman.

No doesn't work for me, unless it keeps the girl from nagging about stuff. If she can separate the tasks and take the lead regarding much of stuff, and also take the responsibility of those decisions then ok.
Sexually, no, that's a hard limit for me.
Although I've never really seen dominant girls, they just act bossy and lack leadership and just think they're dominant. Basically just want stuff done a certain way without much reasoning, work or effort from their side.

I don't like being the protected, I like being the protector, both when it comes to relationships and friendships. That doesn't mean that I can't appreciate what someone else does for me, but if I don't get to do it for THEM, then I will feel useless.

I understand, why you don't like the continuous overprotection and honestly I'd want to feel affection, protected and supported sometimes and other times I want to give those to others. I don't know if I'd like full dominance but I can definitely get behind a share of dominance.
