Do guys feel intimidated by tall and athletic women?

I have been tall all my life and I've always just wondered about how guys may feel if women are taller than them. I'm currently just shy of being 6 feet tall and I'm Asian. Haha, not sure if that would be a dealbreaker for dating and relationships.

I lift pretty heavy weights at the gym - 160kg for deadlifts and 120kg for squats. I run full marathons and enjoy a good long run a couple of times a week. I'm in love with sports and everything that gets my heart pumping. Some of my guy friends have told me that it would be hard to find a guy to match up to my passion for sports and fitness. But I feel that I shouldn't have to compromise on what I love just to be in a relationship. Any thoughts?

I would be very turned on sexually by a tall and strong female but if she could out lift more than me in weightlifting It would make me feel emasculated. Your deadlift is very heavy for most females, 352 lbs and the most I've done was 410 lbs but my best full squat was 400lbs and a 700lb quarter squat. There are women who can lift more than me now and that makes me feel emasculated almost as much as if a female would beat me in wrestling. But sexually it is a turn on to see strong women and I'd love to have sex with a very strong woman. However I'd feel a bit out of place to go out in public with a woman who was a couple inches taller than me.

Don't compromise just to be in a relationship. I match your weight lifting with one arm... but you'd kill me with that weight on my legs if it's over 12 reps. I'm not even 5'10"...

Point is you shouldn't have to compromise anything you are clearly capable of or simply do well just for a relationship. We like what we like because we do, it's biology, natural selection, and such... the importance of having a relationship is secondary in my opinion.

Or... do what many people do... settle for less and cheat when more shows up. Again... natural selection. We are not special.

No woman intimidates me. And since i'm 6'5" a woman has to be pretty tall to be taller than me. But while i enjoy sports like basketball i wouldn't classify myself as "athletic" and any woman that does probably isn't a match for me.

I don't think you have to change who you are but you might have to understand a guy who shares your level of passion might be a rare match. Then again i don't hang out wirh gym rats so what do i know.

I prefer an athletic woman (as long as she is also high intelligence and pious) but one who is actually really in shape. I saw the CU volleyball team in downtown Dumbver for Taste of Colorado and I thought, they are not fat but they are also not in optimal athletic condition. I didn't find them attractive for that reason. A runner I sometimes see in another part of town is in the best athletic shape I have ever seen a woman in. I find her very attractive and have wished she would adopt me (homeless man) but so far we have never spoken and I avoided her last time I saw her. I don't care about height even though I'm short. Who is old enough here to remember Susan Anton + Dudley Moore match up?

If I were to be intimidated by a girl, it wouldn't be for her height. It would likely be her intelligence or muscle mass, etc... But just because someone intimidates me, it doesn't often influence my attraction towards them. Something has to be physically unappealing for that to happen. Though muscle mass would, height wouldn't fall under that category. But if she was just in shape and had a bit of muscle mass, I wouldn't mind.

Don't compromise what you love. There are plenty of guys who are athletic who would love to meet a woman like you. I'm surprised you aren't getting massively hit on when you go to events. Take every opportunity to talk to people and make connections. If you see an attractive guy go say "have a good race?" or whatever.

Nope before I got married I dated a girl that was a inch taller than me. I'm over 6 foot and you know what I loved it. I could look her in the eyes without bending over.

Bedroom stuff was great to. We did stuff where a tall and a short person could not do as easy.

We could trade clothes we about the same size.

I found being with her and her height a pleasure. I like her height so much. That it was like having a fetish.

Never give up what you love if its benefitting you. I would never feel intimidated by any kind of woman. But I do prefer women shorter then me but it doesn't have to be that way. And athletic, that sounds fun because I train myself all the time. You sound like an ideal woman. You would've been greatly appreciated over here 😁👍

I'm curious are you deadlifting 250 for reps or is it a PR.

I don't care about her hight as long as she doesn't care about mine. I'm only 5'6" but I have a lot of charisma, confidence, and physical and inner strength. I'm a grower not a shower. The longer I fuck the bigger it get. I range from and average of 6" to 9" and managed to get it up to 13" once but that was only after fucking for most of the day ~13 hours. Obviously with breaks every 3-5 hours or so. It was a good day. 👍

There are definitely guys out their for you. And if you don't mind a guy being shorter than you I'm sure you have a wide pool of potential applicants.
Who doesn't love it when their partner takes care of themselves. I feel like plenty of athletic men would love a partner who shared their passion and hobbies.
And the ones who are insecure because of you are probably not the ones you want to date.

It's usually the woman that has the problem (ie most women say they want guys their height or taller).

For me personally, while I have a preference for shorter women, that's all it is. Meaning it's never a "deal breaker". So much more to a person.

Yes, you will have problems finding guy who likes ~6 foot Asian girl, that like sports a lot.

Do not even think stopping sports for it, just search in other places then you do now, where people who like this type of girl hang out... Or when you become famous people will start getting in line to get in relationship with you...

I'm about your height and I'm not sure the most I've ever squatted or deadlifted. But no, I wouldn't be emasculated if you lift more than I do, and the fact that you're a tall woman. Everyone is different, has different strengths and capabilities. Sex doesn't always have to do with it. I would not turn down a relationship with you. I would consider your strengths as a training tool for me that you could help me get to your level of fitness. :-)
