I got a rose on a first date, and although it was unexpected and romantic and sweet, I had nowhere to put it, so I kind of awkwardly carried it in my hand, and my purse in my other hand (so If you're hoping to hold her hand, I'd advise not to give her flowers). On the other hand, it was a very rare gesture and it made me feel special, so I'll always remember that guy. In short: not practical, but nice.

I like flowers and I find it very thoughtful so yes I think itโs a good move 🥰
itโs a plus if they bring me tacos tho 😍😂
What Girls Said
While never expected, a very sweet gesture.
Wouldn't like it personally. Gives me too much pressure to like someone instead of giving me space to form my opinion. In the end it might scare me away.
Also, flowers need water and if we're gonna do something they might get ruined so I would actually stress about that lol.Cite and sweet for sure, but I'd feel a pretty awkward being obligated to accept them whether or not the first date results in "sparks" or not. Maybe wait until you're official for a little while.
Flowers are too much on a first date. Iโd feel more comfortable receiving them after a few dates if it seemed like weโd end up in a relationship.
I'm not a flower type of girl but honestly, it would be super romantic and impress me since I've never been on a date with a guy who has done that lol
For me personally, it is neither, I don't care for flowers. But I appreciate it. I'm not a fan of gifts that are bought
I wouldn't be a bitch about it, I'd be cool with it, but I kind of find that a bit overplayed. Kind of like trying too hard. That's just me.
Good move if the flowers will get me high by smoking them.
I think flowers are a great move for a first date if you're picking her up from her house
It is a sweet move, but I am not really a flower person.
